Wireless Beats Headphones: 21 Options to Stay Upbeat

Incoming #MobileMusicMonday appreciation post! . I generally try to keep all my posts exclusive to being about vinyl, but today I felt compelled to express my love for my latest addition to our little headphone family; the beautiful Sennheiser HD1's. Y’know, since I can’t take my vinyls [and their sound] with me everywhere – gotta try to compensate! . If you're like me, you’ve upgraded your phone and are stuck without a headphone jack unless equipped with a dongle, but are considering further embracing wirelessness – I can't suggest these enough. I am in no way sponsored, this is not an ad, but I DO research the hell out of anything I'm dropping more than a couple bills on, and if you’re eager for a GOOD pair of over-ear, noise cancelling cans, you're going to spend a few bucks. And if you dabble in audiophilia, you know buying headphones is NOT a straightforward process. I did a ton of research and tried everything I could get my hands on: Bose QC35II, Sony WH and MDR1000, Bowers & Wilkins PX, B&Os, Beats Studio3 (🤮), etc. While obviously everyone has their own priorities and preferences, there’s no question when it comes to soundstage, definition, balance & all around sound quality in a wireless bluetooth headphone, these are among, if not the very best. Hardwire em into a device like a classic iPod and the music gets even BETTER, as the cans dedicate more power for the music rather than noise cancelling! I won’t go too deep into how they stack up and compare against their competitors, BUT . PROS: •beautiful, durable minimalist design & materials •excellent well rounded sound, improves when plugged in •wireless (w/ hi-fi AptX Bluetooth) (not available in iPhones) •mic works great for calls •stellar 22hrs of battery life on one charge •comfortable, even after long periods •modest noise cancelling •folds up, comes with both soft & hand stitched hard cases CONS: •expensive (wait for a deal) •not waterproof •subpar noise cancelling to competition •bit heavy •controls are simple, but not the most intuitive . #sennheiser #sennheiserhd1 #hd1 #momentum2.0 #wirelessheadphones #bluetooth #aptx #sony #BoseQCII #ipod #classiciPod
The Sennheiser HD1 has rave reviews in the world of wireless headphones. Users dig its nice sound quality and its sophisticated design. It has ear pads made of leather, padded and adjustable for your comfort and convenience along with a noise-canceling feature.
When it comes to the best noise cancellation feature, Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series II tops the list. It can eliminate any noise from street noises to the office or airplane noises. The overall quality of the headphones is great though the look is quite standard. You can use the smartphone connectivity and mic to receive calls and use virtual assistants on your phone, too.
Ghostek soDrop 2 leads the pack of headphones innovations offered at the most affordable price. You can enjoy many features with these headphones including the Bluetooth implementation and the built-in mic. The most popular color of these headphones among users is black, although it comes in gold and rose as well.

If you’re looking for comfort though, this may not offer you much, especially when using it for longer periods of time.
17. Sony 1000X

🎧 Switched it up on em’ quick 🤯My tech hormones shift like that 🤪So after 72 hours with the Bose QC 35 II, while the quality has been crystal clear – I recognized max volume output to be relatively low compared to other headphones, assuming it's hence the “quiet comfort”. I attributed this to poor hearing but upon further googling… it's a well known complaint. Now it's understood ANC headphones aren't for bass, but my library consists of mainly hip hop and to put it simple…the Sony 1000xm2’s just allow me to “FEEL” 🎶 my music a lil more. Brighter & Tighter 💪Needless to say, I'm happy with the switch ☺️ (I'll elaborate in detail but holding off on the review until Sony releases firmware update that adds true Google Assistant Support)
One of the best features of Sony 1000X is its long battery life. Aside from that, it also has a great noise-cancellation feature similar to the Bose headphones. You can collapse these headphones making it easier to pack and use while on the go.
The @verge select DSR9BT as the best audiophile bluetooth headphone: "It’s impossible to talk about wireless headphones in 2017 without acknowledging Audio-Technica’s grand achievement with the DSR9BT" https://t.co/c95w4zRWIo pic.twitter.com/uT4jGHRTby
— Audio-Technica (@AudioTechnicaUK) December 11, 2017
What Audio-Technica DSR9BT offers is the efficiency when it comes to power and a clean sound plus a more defined treble perfect for any music genres. The only downside is its lack of a noise-canceling feature making it difficult to use in noisy environments.
19. AKG N60 NC
The light-weight feature of the AKG N60 NC makes it more convenient to use for longer periods of time. Even with the noise-canceling feature, you still can enjoy music in its original form. Its foldable feature makes it easier to fit in the pockets of your jacket or your jeans.
