Save battery with airplane mode

Helpful tips

Spending the day outdoors on the lake or at the amusement park and worried your smartphone will run out of battery before the day is over? Put your smartphone in airplane mode when you’re not using it. You won’t be able to receive any texts or notifications while in airplane mode but your battery life will be extended. When you’re ready to check for messages and notifications, turn airplane mode off and wait a few minutes for your phone to catch up on notifications. When you’re ready to save battery again, turn airplane mode back on.
