How do I print a photo on Shoebox?

Ask Mr. Noobie

Ask Mr. NoobieQUESTION: What do I have to do to print a picture that is saved on Shoebox? – Dennis M. from Roanoke Rapids, NC

ANSWER: As far as I can tell, there is no way to print one of your photos directly from Shoebox. So let’s move on to Plan B, the alternative way to accomplish what you are trying to do.

I’m not sure if you are using a smartphone, tablet or computer to access your Shoebox account but to keep things easy I am going to assume you have access to a computer and can log in to your Shoebox account to see your photos.

Download your photos from Shoebox

Let’s start with the exact instructions from Shoebox on how to download your photos:

To download individual photos from Shoebox open the desired photo and select the download icon. Our apps download the maximum resolution available with your plan.

If you would like to export your entire collection to your Mac/PC please visit our export page and follow the instructions to download all of your photos in the maximum resolution available with your plan.

Printing options

Now that you have your photos on your computer, you have several options to print them:

  • You can burn them to a CD/DVD or a USB thumb stick and take it to your local drug store to print your photos at their kiosk (or have a photo representative help you).
  • You can upload them to a photo sharing site like Snapfish, Shutterfly or your local drug store’s website.
  • You can print them to your own color inkjet printer.

Print a whole book

If you have a lot of photos to print, you might also want to consider Groovebook which lets you print a custom photo book with up to 100 photos for only $2.99. If you choose this router, however, you’ll need to use the Shoebox app on your tablet or smartphone to download your photos to your device first and then use the Groovebook app to order your photo book.
