Lofter LED Desk Lamp

Sometimes you need a little extra light in your bedroom, office or other workspace. That’s where the Lofter LED Desk Lamp comes in handy. It’s strong clamp allows you to securely attach the light to a desk, table, shelf, or any other sturdy surface.

Lofter LED Desk Lamp Review

The Lofter LED Desk Lamp has two brightness levels controlled by a switch on the power cord and an additional push button to change the light mode. This is all powered by its 24 LEDs. There are three light modes available – white, soft white (I refer to this as yellow light) or a mixture of both. The manufacturer refers to these as Warm White, Daylight White and Cool White although I’m not entirely clear which name goes with which setting.

The neck of the lamp is flexible so you can bend it (within reason) to position the light at whatever position or angle you need.

Because the Lofter LED Desk Lamp is powered by USB instead of a standard electrical plug, you can plug it into a USB port on your desktop computer or laptop or use a USB power adapter (not included) to plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

Soft white LED options

I found the Lofter LED Desk Lamp quite adequate for adding additional light to my workspace and I especially like the soft white light options since so many LED lights I’ve used in the past offer nothing but the bright white option.

I do wish, however, that the Lofter LED Desk Lamp had built-in rechargeable batteries so I could also use it in areas where I don’t have access to a USB port or an electrical outlet. As somewhat of an alternative, you can plug the Lofter LED Desk Lamp into a portable USB charger (with 5V output) when you want to roam with the light. I tested this with my Jackery and it worked great.

The Lofter LED Desk Lamp is available on Amazon and is priced (as of this writing) at $13.99
