12 can’t-go-wrong tech gifts for under $100

Right around this time of year I get flooded with requests from people asking me what gadget they should get for someone in their family. Of course, the obvious answers are things like an iPad (or iPad mini) or a new Xbox One or Playstation 4. But these things cost a lot of money. I mean, a lot.

So what about the people who want to keep it under $100? Well, to help them out I decided to create a list of 12 gadgets that fit perfectly in their budget. In fact, some of the items on my list are under $50!

Honestly, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t like any one of these, provided it makes sense for them. In other words, don’t get a Kindle for someone who doesn’t read books—or Spotify for someone who doesn’t like music—you get the idea.

If you have any questions about any of the items on my list below, submit it as a comment. I’ll do my best to answer all of them.
