Would you let a complete stranger wake you up in the morning?
I've seen some crazy social networking applications developed over the years but this one may be worthy of the grand prize.
It's called talkO'clock and it allows you to have a complete stranger wake you up in the morning. So goodbye computer automated wake-up calls (although talkO'clock uses these if no one volunteers to wake you up) or good ol' fashioned alarm clocks and hello creepy, awkward I-don't-know-you call.
Watch the video below and you'll see what I mean. Then answer my two questions below the video.
If you can not see the embedded video above please use the following link: TalkO'clock on your computer "howto"
Here are my two questions:
1. Would you want a complete stranger calling you in the morning to wake you up?
2. Would you call a complete stranger to wake them up in the morning (it takes two to tango)?

If I could depend on the robot, I’d be cool with it. Otherwise, it’s sorta of creepy. What sort of person wants to cold call people and wake them up?

Meghan, I agree. I can imagine a stranger calling me saying, “Time to wake up....” and then being all “So, whatcha doing today?” Creeeeeeeeepy!
