Will surf the Internet for free food
There are several advantages to being well-connected in the Internet community. One is getting my hands on every great deal that comes down the Internet pipeline.
For example, I just purchased a $25.00 gift certificate to a popular restaurant where I live for a grand total of $2.00. That's not a typo. And I didn't have to pay any shipping charges. I just printed the certificate to my printer and had it in my hands less than 60 seconds after I purchased it.
I did this all through Restaurant.com. Before you get too excited about this, let me tell you that not every restaurant participates in these types of promotions from Restaurant.com. Not even close. In fact, my zip code only had about a dozen or so restaurants to choose from and the one I chose is the only one my family and I eat at.
Furthermore, the offer was really for a $25.00 gift certificate for $10.00. I just happened to have a coupon code (LUCKY, expires 4/30/09) that knocked another 80% off that price.
And lastly, my gift certificate comes with a few restrictions. Namely it can only be used Sunday through Thursday and a minimum of 2 adult entrees must be purchased. That, and a 20% tip is automatically added to my bill. Personally, none of these will stand in my way of enjoying my $23.00 of free food.
I'm toying with the idea of including a "deal of the week" in Noobie's weekly email to all Noobie subscribers. What do you think? Leave a comment and let me know.

Would love to see Deals of the Week !! I very much enjoy your newsletter and don’t even live in your area. It’s electronically informative for someone with limited time to spend researching stuff on the computer. Thanks and keep up the great job !!

I would love to have a deal of the week. As a matter of fact, more than one deal a week would be great too. With times like they are, I personally am interested in saving as much as I can whenever possible. What would be really great is a deal a week for various categories such as online and instore, food such as grocery and eating out, fast food and sit down places, pet, etc.

Alright you’ve convinced me. I’ll get working on it. Might take a couple of weeks though before the deal of the week makes its debut. Thanks for your feedback!
