What was your favorite tech gift you received?
I ran a quick poll on Facebook and Twitter today to see what people's favorite tech gift they received was. Some of the responses (iPad, Kindle, DSi XL) didn't surprise me at all but others like the sound bar and T2i were a pleasant surprise.
Here's the full list. When you're done glancing it over, leave a comment and let me know what your favorite tech gift was. If I get enough, I'll do another follow-up post. After all, Valentine's Day is just around the corner!
Sound Bar - There are several variations on the sound bar but they all do the same thing. Bring surround sound (ok, close to surround sound) to your television without the need for a separate receiver, additional speakers and wiring.

Apple iMac - Still a great computer although more and more people are flocking to the Macbook Pro.

Apple iPad - If you got one of these someone really loves you.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i - Canon consistently ranks at the top of the best digital camera lists and this one is no exception.

Nintendo DSi XL Bundle with Mario Kart - All the fun of the Nintendo DS but supersized with a digital camera and Interent connectivity.

DSi Nerf Armor - Accessory for Nintendo DSi XL above. If your child drops his/her DSi you'll breathe easy if it is wearing nerf armor.

Amazon Kindle - Did anyone not get a Kindle?

I did NOT get a Kindle. Because after researching e-readers, the Nook won for me hands down. I got it for my birthday and love it, love it, love it.

I have to say hands down the Panasonic PT-AE3000U last christmas (2009). I literally cried when I opened it. When a woman buys a nerd such a toy, she is more than worthy of the ring that is someday due. I love my Robin.

My present was low tech, compared to others - a Polar exercise watch (with band) to help me in my fitness quest.

For me this year it was a new Mac Book Pro--out of necessity. I decided that one of the issues I have with my Kindle is that I feel guilty buying books for it when I have so many unread paperbacks and hardbacks. I think catching up will be one of my goals for this year.
Mary Jane: that’s an awesome gift, and you’ll love it!
