Someone recently asked me to help her find a "missing" app on her iPad. I did the preliminary checks of looking through each page on her iPad as well as checking into all of the folders on her iPad to help her find the app. But I couldn't find the app either. I told her that the app was probably accidentally deleted although I later found out that the true cause was that the app didn't survive the upgrade process to iOS 5. My wife completed the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon (that's 13.1 miles for those of you who didn't know) last weekend and I couldn't be prouder of her. She set her mind to finishing it and did exactly that, even though she had to complete the entire mini-marathon by herself. She also bought a neat little device that helped me write today's blog. I read an article on the Lifehacker website titled Keep an Emergency Photo Album in Your Phone to Quickly Provide Important Information in a Crisis. At first glance, I thought this was a good idea. I figured it meant to keep photos of important contacts or insurance information. But it was more than that. The article stated you should keep pictures on your mobile phone of your photo ID, your health insurance card, your auto insurance card as well as photos of your prescription medication.
