To kick off the holiday season, Starbucks released an app called Starbucks Cup Magic [iPhone | Android]. The app allows you to focus your smart phone's camera on certain characters found on Starbucks holiday cups and then watch them come to life. When I was a kid, I used to walk and talk in my sleep. Well, at least that's what my parents told me I was doing when I was trying to clear the house at 3:00 in the morning, screaming "Everybody out! There's a bomb in here!!" When I first started testing Android phones, a friend of mine cautioned me to turn the live wallpapers off because the constant video updating causes the battery to drain faster. The number of emails that I receive from companies asking me to review their products has really increased lately. I guess I should take that as a sign that Noobie is making a name for itself in the Internet world.
