There are still people that think Twitter is only good for telling people what you had for breakfast. And while I may be interested in sharing my new favorite bagel flavor, I definitely have found uses for Twitter far beyond breakfast and bagels. For example, recently I was debating whether to purchase one large 27" monitor for my new computer or dual 23" monitors. I decided to throw the debate out to my Twitter followers by posting this tweet: Question: Would you rather have one 27" monitor or two (dual) 23" monitors? I was overwhelmed with the near-instant feedback I…

I was recently in Best Buy purchasing a computer for a friend. After I picked out the computer and monitor I was escorted to a special checkout line. He recently mentioned to me that he wants a new laptop but probably won't be getting one since his parents already have a desktop computer lined up for him. I think he already knew by the look on my face but I told him anyway that he needed to convince his parents to get the laptop. This is when he begged me to talk to his parents. I guess he figured that Mr. Noobie might might have a little…
