I've been a member of Audible.com for a couple of years now. Long enough that Audible has given me a free 3-month subscription, valued at $45, to give away to a friend. Well guess what? That friend is going to be one of you. All you need to do is follow the simple rules below to be eligible. What is Audible? But first, if you've never heard of Audible, here's a quick refresher. Audible.com is a website that sells audiobooks in digital format (not CDs or tapes). You can buy audiobooks a la carte but, in my opinion, the best… Continue reading...

Nothing gets me in the holiday mood more than some good Christmas music. Ok, a plateful of sugar cookies and a Chick-fil-A peppermint chocolate chip milkshake work just as well but generally, it's the music. I tried one of those things for the tape deck (it has both tape deck and cd player) but it lasted only a couple of months. - Colleen from Indianapolis ANSWER: It's too bad that you said you tried the cassette adapter because up until I recently purchased a new car, that's exactly what I used to listen to my iPhone through my car stereo. I had all but given up on anything else. The FM transmitters I tried were all… Continue reading...

I just spent the weekend in Vegas at a training conference called Millionaire Boot Camp (I'll let you know when I become a millionaire). Getting to las Vegas and back from Indianapolis can make for a lengthy, and sometimes boring, flight (or two). That's why I like to use my iPad as my own personal, traveling movie theater. It's simple to do but requires a bit of advanced planning. For starters, you have to know what movies you want to watch before you leave. And by before, I mean before you even get to the airport. Here's why. In my… Continue reading...
