I'm a big fan of eBay, mainly because there's a never-ending audience for things you are trying to sell that you think no one would ever want to buy. Take for instance the used irrigation system controller I sold on eBay for $38 after the service man who was upgrading the system told me he was going to throw it away. Or the bundle of typewriter supplies I sold on behalf of a client of mine on eBay for $21, just when you thought the typewriter was extinct. I'd be willing to bet that if someone explained to you what Netflix is, the words DVDs and movies would be mentioned multiple times. I'd also be willing to bet that the phrase "television shows" is never mentioned. That's because most people aren't aware that Netflix also offers television shows in addition to its giant movie collection. Missed the final season of Sopranos? Netflix has you covered. A good friend of mine, Jason Bean, recently wrote a blog post titled Straight No Chaser Delivers the "Holiday Spirits" which caught my attention. Straight No Chaser is a local [Indianapolis] 10-man vocal group that got its big break when the Chairman/CEO of Atlantic records just happened upon on of their videos on YouTube. Noobies don't need any more frustration with technology than they already have. That's why I am going to let you in on a little trick I use on the Internet to avoid saying (typing) the same thing twice. Whenever I type a long comment on someone's blog or fill out an online customer support request, I always copy and paste what I wrote into another application before I click the Submit button.
