The price for a gallon of gas at my local Speedway station reached $4.19. Well, technically $4.20 but nobody ever really includes that 9/10 of a cent when talking about gas prices. BabyCenter, the self-proclaimed "leading destination on the Internet for new and expectant parents" is running a poll on their web site asking moms, "Which tech gadget, electronic device, or technology can you not live without?" Choices include cell phone, PDA, microwave, email, Internet, GPS, TiVo, television, DVD player, digital music player, video game console, digital camera, other and none of the above. Daylight Savings Time took effect last Saturday night, three weeks earlier than normal. There was a lot of press over this change and how it would affect technology-related devices such as computers that were pre-programmed to change their clock based on the previous schedule. Some even went as far as to compare the change to Y2K. Do you want to know what I did to prepare for this big change? Absolutely nothing. On Sunday morning I woke up and checked my desktop computer.
