I belong to the Dad's Club at my children's school as well as participate in a wonderful organization called All Pro Dad. As part of being an All Pro Dad, I subscribe to their email newsletter and always look forward to the great parenting advice they give me. One email newsletter in particular, sent this week, really caught my eye. Here's an excerpt from that email: In order to effectively parent your children, you need to keep up on the latest technology. If you haven't learned the art of text messaging on your cell phone - start. It's a great… Continue reading...

Few things annoy me more than answering the door to my home only to find out the person standing on the other side is trying to sell me something I don't want so that he or she can finally take their dream trip to Disney World. Or that unless I sign a petition right now, the city is going to build a Wal-Mart next door to me. Don't get me wrong. I'm not against door-to-door sales. I can never have enough girl scout cookies or boy scout popcorn. But I like to buy these things from kids in my neighborhood… Continue reading...

On behalf of Noobie, I would like to congratulate Pam Keith, the winner of the Noobie SanDisk Mobile Ultra 8GB memory card contest. Pam recommended three of her friends and family for the Noobie mailing list earning her three entries into the grand prize drawing. As a special bonus perk, I've asked Pam to give a brief summary of who she is and what she does. Take it away Pam! Pam Keith is the owner of Pamela Hixon Keith, Virtual Assistant, LLC. Pam started her Virtual Assistant (VA) business in 2006, bringing 30 years of administrative experience to that business.… Continue reading...
