This blog post is coming to you live from my Adding Video to Your Blog session at Blog Indiana 2009. For the past 30 minutes or so I have been demonstrating to the audience how to record their own videos using a webcam, Flip Video camcorder or iPhone 3G-S. I love it when technology and simplicity come together. That's what Apple has accomplished with the new iPhone 3G S. Until the 3G S there was no way to capture video with your iPhone. Well, at least with the out-of-the-box iPhone. Not only did Apple add video capture and recording with the iPhone 3G S but Apple also made it drop-dead simple to share your recorded video with others. My 7-year-old son is keeping me on my toes with Santa Claus this year. He recently told me that he is going to set out his digital camera on Christmas Eve so he can get a picture of Santa coming down the chimney. Today I ordered a Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder from Amazon.com. This camera has become the talk of the town for video bloggers and I figured it was about time I joined the video blogging revolution. What's funny is that I already own a Sony DCR-SR82 camcorder which is much, much nicer than the Flip Video I just purchased. I know, I know, something doesn't add up.
