I tried a little experiment in my house. After reading about a stick figure animation program called Stykz, I decided I would download it and give it a try. But as I was downloading the software, it occurred to me that it would be more fun to download the program on my kids' computer and then just let them "have at it" with the software. No instructions. Today I am going to clear the air on something that has been confusing noobies for a while now. I'm referring to the recovery partition that companies like HP include with their computers. The recovery partition is a small section of the computer's hard drive used to restore the computer back to its factory condition. I often wonder how many times noobies struggle with something on their computer never knowing a simple solution is available right at their fingertips. Take for instance something as routine as the double-click action on the mouse. Today I watched a client repeatedly struggle to double-click her mouse. The problem was that her two clicks were too far apart from one another. So instead of the computer recognizing a double-click, it instead recognized the action as two separate clicks.
