Is there such a thing as getting too many confirmation emails? A recent online purchase I made inclines me to say yes. I recently helped a Noobie Concierge client purchase an ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10-Inch Netbook (I told you these things were a hot item) along with a Samsung USB external slim DVD drive. At the time of purchase, the best deal on the external DVD drive was at NewEgg so I went ahead and placed the order there on behalf of my client. Since I have placed the order, I have received the following emails (subject lines listed…

As the final chapter to my Best Buy plush penguin saga and the feel-good moment of the day for me, I'd like to send a congratulations to Ryan Crozier for leaving what I felt was the most compelling reason to win the Madagascar DVD. No, it's not because I don't want or have the time to watch them. Nor is it because I've grown bored with Netflix. And it certainly isn't because I enjoy paying $14 per month to let DVDs collect dust near my television. Fewer DVDs, more content The real reason is because I watch almost all of my Netflix movies on-demand on my TiVO HD…
