Things that make your computer sick

Most computer users know they need some sort of protection against viruses, probably because they get the most news and Internet attention. But what about spyware, scareware, trojans and worms? Do you even know what these are? Would you recognize it if you had one?

A favorite Internet site of mine, Lifehacker, recently posted an excellent article explaining the difference between viruses, trojans, worms and other malware.

I could re-hash the article and put it in my own words but the article is too good for that. So instead I recommend jumping over to the Lifehacker site and reading their explanation, word-for-word.
