Send a text message to my t-shirt
With the explosion of the Internet, there are certainly no shortages of ways to promote and advertise your business. So when Scott Abel from the Content Wrangler posted on Twitter about a new way to promote your business on a t-shirt, my initial thought was "big deal."
I'm glad I decided to follow Scott's link anyway. The link took me to a web site for a company called Reactee. Reactee lets you effortlessly create a t-shirt containing a brief message of your choosing. That's not the cool part. The cool part is that Reactee also lets you choose a keyword that can be texted to a special number listed on your t-shirt.
So when people see your t-shirt, they can "react" to it by texting your keyword to the special number. And when they do, they will immediately receive another message back--a message you get to write and update as often as your heart desires.
Here's a look at the t-shirt I created:

Got a cell phone? Go ahead and try it out. Text the word "NOOBIE" to 41411 and see what happens.

I’m so happy you decided to follow the link I provided. I recently used this shirt at a conference and got over 100+ new followers on my Twitter account http://www.twitter.com/scottabel and using another shirt I provided URLs to website I did presentation about at conference. 30+ attendees sent text message and received details about the website on their phone. They loved it!
I did, too!
It’s a great service.
Remember, it’s not about the t-shirt. It’s about content delivery - getting your message in front of the right people, in the right format, at the right time.

@Scott: Thanks once again for the tip. I am loving my t-shirt and have received several requests already to my text number.
Love the idea of wearing it to a conference. Nice!
