Say what you want this minivan’s got style!

Yesterday was a big day for me. I traded in the Noobie van for a brand new 2011 Toyota Sienna. Yes, this is the noo Noobie van—I just haven't got around to putting the new decals on yet.

Now, like a lot of other guys, a minivan is nowhere near the top of my list of most wanted cars. But I gotta tell ya boys, this minivan's got style!

Here's a quick list of my favorite features and why I am definitely going to be driving proud in my new swagger wagon:

  • Sirius XM radio. Yeah, big deal, I know. Satellite radio has been around forever. But I say so what? I've never had it in my car before so it's new to me—and I love it!

  • A 16" DVD screen capable of being split into two separate video displays.

  • Heated leather seats.

  • A moonroof.

  • An an auxilliary audio jack for plugging in an iPod (or any other MP3 or audio device).

  • A USB port. Yes, you read that correctly. A USB port. I now can charge any of my USB-based gadgets by plugging them directly into my car.

  • An AC power outlet for those extra long trips when the Xbox 360 would make for the perfect backseat time killer.

  • Bluetooth phone integration. I can place outgoing calls and receive incoming calls on my smart phone without ever taking my phone out of my pocket.

  • Bluetooth audio integration. Any music on my smart phone automatically streams to the stereo system in the car. And I can change tracks using the controls on the dashboard meaning again, my phone never leaves my pocket.

Am I bragging? Probably. And I apologize for that. But after all, it is just a minivan, right?

  • I want bluetooth in my car… keep thinking I’ll take it to the dealer and have that option added in… oh, and I’ve always wanted a sunroof/moonroof too…
I’ve been an XM Customer since 2002, but have Sirius in my current car… still think XM is better… yeah, I know most people think they are the same—but even though the merger was years ago, they aren’t the same!
Congrats on the noo Noobie swagger wagon
