Orange you glad we’re almost there?

Technology doesn't always have to make your life more productive or more efficient. Sometimes it can just be plain 'ol fun. Take for instance my recent road trip to Florida with my family. I decided to have a little fun on the drive down and give my parents a state-by-state update of where we were on our trip.

I did this by taking digital pictures on my iPhone of my kids waving or of noticeable landmarks in the area every time we crossed a state line and then emailing them to my parents with some sort of goofy subject line. My parents got a big kick out of this and I think my children may have even learned a little geography from the whole experience.

Here's a few examples of the email subject lines and pictures I sent (sorry, but I am omitting the pictures of my children for obvious reasons):

Hello from Louisville

Louisville, KY

Yee-haw from Nashville

Peachy in Georgia

Orange you glad we're almost there?
