My third appearance on the Fox 59 Morning News show

This morning I had a great opportunity to appear on the Fox 59 Morning News show to discuss how cold weather affects your electronics and what you can do if you accidentally leave your electronics in your car overnight.

It's always tough to cram the amount of information I have in the alotted time slot but I did my best. Below are a few items I had prepared but didn't get to mention:

  • You can find colored socks for your iPod on Amazon.com. A multi-color six-pack runs about $10 or you can buy them individually for $3-4 each. Or you could just use a pair of your own socks!
  • Amazon also sells iPod gloves. These gloves have special surfaces on the fingertips to allow you to use the click wheel on your iPod without having to take your gloves off.
  • A friend of mine suggested using Ziploc bags to store electronics when traveling in cold weather with them.
  • Another friend of mine said that despite the cold weather warnings, she accidentally left her iPhone in her car overnight in -5F temperatures... and it survived!

I've embedded the video below if you want to watch the segment. For those of you not reading this on the Noobie web site, click here to watch the video.
