My secret weapon unveiled

  • Posted: May 17, 2010  Topics: General

When Noobie celebrated its 4th birthday back in April I wrote a blog post hinting that I had big things planned for Noobie's future, mainly because of a new secret weapon.

Bonnie WelchToday I am ready to announce my new secret weapon. It is none other than Mrs. Noobie (a.k.a. my wife, a.k.a. Bonnie Welch).

For those of you who don't know my wife or who have never met her personally, let me give you a brief background. She is the hardest working person I have ever met in my entire life, bar none. She has been one of the most valuable employees at every job she has ever worked and when she leaves, they always beg her to come back.

I am still pinching myself that she is working for Noobie now.

So what do Mr. and Mrs. Noobie have planned for the rest of the year? Here's a quick sample:

  • New options to help local, small businesses

  • More free web site content including video blogs and product reviews

  • New product offerings tailored specifically to Noobie's "offline" audience

  • A fresh coat of paint on the Noobie web site to reduce the clutter and help visitors find the help they need faster

I am so excited about all of this I can barely sleep at night. And my dream during the few hours of sleep I do get is that all of you will share in my excitement throughout the rest of the year as Noobie takes Bonnie and me on this incredible journey.

  • @MrsNoobie - welcome aboard!  (btw, where was the Birthday cake this year for Noobie’s birthday? j/k;))

  • My husband says that I am his secret weapon - especially when we are on a trip.  I can drive for hours while he gets a nap and rests up for his stint at driving.  We were out west when he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.  After he got stabalized, I drove us home from Ely, Nevada to PA.  Don’t want to ever go through that again!
