Looking for free Wi-Fi?
Looking for free Internet access? Then all you need to do is move to Mountain View, California, home of Google. Forget about your cable modem or DSL. Forget about paying $30-60 per month for Internet access. Google is giving it all away for free. Keep in mind though, that this is wireless Internet access. Google will not be visiting every home in Mountain View, California. Instead they will be providing a wireless signal that every resident of Mountain View (approximately 72,000 people) should be able to receive.
Mountain View, California not your thing? Can’t wait until 2007, the earliest Google could realistically pull this off? You could always move to St. Cloud, Florida who launched a free city-wide wireless network earlier this year.
