Little Noobies: eBay [VIDEO]

  • Posted: March 24, 2010  Topics: Internet

Today I am introducing a new segment to my blog that I have been wanting to do for a long time. It's called Little Noobies. The segment will feature videos of kids talking about technology.

Some will be funny. Some will be serious. Some you might even learn something from. But the whole point is to just sit back and enjoy technology from a child's point of view.

Of course, I would be in big trouble if I didn't kick off the series with one of my own kids. Lucky for me, my 8-year-old son just found a great deal on eBay on a game he wanted. I jumped on this opportunity and asked my son a series of quick questions regarding his eBay experience.

The result is this video. Hope you enjoy it.

  • Well, let your little noobie know that his BG (brown Granny) know that she is so proud to know he has jumped into the cyber bidding world and I know how good it feels to win.  Just keep a log of what your doing so that you dont do what BG did and bid on a nice 5 disc player and then wake up 2 days later and think `hey, I should look for a nice 5 disc player - find a bid on one… well a few days later I get a pop up email that I won!!!  I was so happy.  UH - then a couple of days later I got another pop up saying I had WON - ANOTHER 5 DISC PLAYER.  Well, I retraced my life and uncovered the timelines, and yes indeed, I did do it twice.  I know the Bible says `dont let your right hand know what your left hand does` , but this was a case of not letting the right side of my brain know what the left side of my brain was doing.
