How much for your 2007 iPhone app?

When I was a kid I used to get together with my friends to compare and swap baseball cards. Oh how the times have changed.

This past weekend I was visiting family and had a chance to visit with my teenage nephew. I noticed he finally got the iPod Touch he had been wanting for a long time.

He was sitting next to me and I couldn't help but notice he was playing a game on his iPod Touch that I didn't have myself. I asked him the name of the game and, as soon as he told me, I hit the App Store on my iPhone and downloaded a copy for myself.

I felt like I owed my nephew a favor in return so I recommended a couple of good apps back to him. Before I knew it, we were comparing and swapping iPhone and iPod Touch apps just like I used to swap baseball cards.

If only my iPhone apps would appreciate in value and be worth millions some day. I still have the original 2007 Shazam app ya know.
