Has multi-tasking gone too far?
I admit it. Today, I was on a roll catching up on email when I realized I had to go to the bathroom. It actually bugged me because it was the kind of bathroom trip that takes more than a few minutes if you catch my drift.
And that's when I did it. I grabbed my iPhone and took it with me to the bathroom. Mind you I work out of my house so I still had my privacy despite the fact that I probably lost my dignity.
So there I was. Doing my business while "doing my business".
I was so proud of my time management and the number of emails I processed I didn't even stop to think how ridiculous what I had just done was.
I guess my iPhone is the modern day newspaper.
Am I alone in this? Has anyone else ever taken their cell phone or smart phone to the bathroom? I created a little poll below to find out. It's anonymous so go ahead and cast your vote!
If you can't see the poll above, please visit this blog post directly on the Noobie web site here.

Ok, I don’t own an iphone but I am embarrassed to say that I have talked to people on the old fashioned landline cordless while in the bathroom. I have also witnessed people in a public bathroom at work talking on their cell phones with their children or other family members. So, actually I think emails are ok for this kind of mutitasking.
Thanks, Patric!

@Becky: Now talking on the phone in the bathroom takes on a whole new level of multi-tasking!
