Google implements its own 5 second rule
Every kid grows up learning the 5 second rule. Drop a piece of candy on the floor and you have 5 seconds to pick it up before you have to throw it away. Now, thanks to Google, adults will get to enjoy their own 5 second rule.

Google recently added a new feature to Gmail (enabled by reviewing the Google Labs tools in Gmail's settings) that allows a user to undo a sent email up to 5 seconds after clicking the Send button. So if you discover you accidentally sent that nasty-gram to your boss instead of your co-worker, you now have 5 seconds to fix your mistake.
Now if only Google could find a way for husbands to undo their words the next time they look at their wife and say, "What's up with your hair?"

Thanks for that tip! There are so many great features in Labs. This is exactly what I need.
I suggest husbands to say, “I didn’t mean your hair, I meant someone else’s hair!” LOL

@Katy: Another favorite of mine is the Labs feature that reminds you when you mention the word attachment in an email but forget to actually attach something!
