Today, Michael Phelps was interviewed after one of the 200 meter freestyle heats. The interviewer asked him about the previous night when he was "unusually emotional" on the podium during the medal ceremony. 23 year old Michael Phelps replied that he had been through a lot during the last few years and that he was thinking about all of the text messages he received telling him, "we're rooting for you."
