Do you plan on purchasing the new Apple iPad?

  • Posted: February 10, 2010  Topics: Gadgets

Apple iPad Noobie is conducting its own little mini-survey on the new Apple iPad. If you haven't yet heard about the upcoming iPad or you just need a refresher course, here's a link to a blog post I recently wrote about the iPad:

Apple announces revolutionary device with a horrible name

Back to the survey. Noobie wants to know whether or not you plan on purchasing the Apple iPad when it is released in a couple of months.

The survey is on the front page of the Noobie site so in order to vote, just visit www.noobie.com and look for "Vote in a Noobie Poll" on the lower right-hand side of the page.

If enough people participate in the poll, I will publish the results in a follow-up blog post a few weeks from now.

  • Probably not the wisest dollar I’ve spent, but I’m still going to get one. Not for any other reason than I like to have the “new” thing that’s out. I mean, its not horrible. It is somewhat cool. I need another e-reader anyway, as I’m not overly impressed with my “nook” and hopefully the i-pad will get updated to meet more of my needs. I do have to agree with Noobie- the “ipad”..... Come on Apple, all those creative minds and that’s what you come up with? Should have just called it the “i-touch 300% zoomed”!!!

  • I don’t intend to purchase one. It just seems too big to be practical. I guess I could drop it into a big purse. But the fellows? Is that an iPad in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

  • YEP!  I will be buying 2....one for my husband and myself.  I love the design and ease of use.  I love pulling out my ITouch and read a book while waiting in line at the store using my KINDLE APP.  Love the size and the weight.  I’ll probably wait until late summer....I want to see them up close and personal before I decide which ones to buy!
