I never know which is worse. The fact that someone doesn't know how to do something with a piece of technology they own or the fact that the companies manufacturing the technology don't bother to explain or just assume its users will know how to do it. Case in point. I saw a woman deleting one text message at a time from her inbox on her cell phone. I never thought I'd say anything bad about Google but I guess all good things must come to an end. Albeit this is only a minor infraction as far as I'm concerned. I think Google is messing too much with their logo. It used to be a fun surprise when you'd visit the Google page and see a creative twist on their logo (affectionately known as a Doodle) for St. Patrick's Day or Halloween. Smart people who sell items on eBay know to do their research first. This usually involves determining the market value for items identical or similar in nature to the one they are selling. This is a great strategy but one that needs to be executed carefully. For starters, too many people make the mistake of using the main search box on the eBay home page when performing their search. People ask me all of the time how to get to the #1 position in Google. I always give them the same answer. I tell them they have two choices. The first is to work really hard, write great content and use relevant and targeted keywords. The second choice is to pay for it. As you might suspect, very few people want to take the paid route.
