I have never met David Szpunar but yesterday he made my day. I had just about had it up to here with the iPhone iOS 4 upgrade. And while I had worked my way through most of the issues, two big ones still were nagging me. Namely: 1. Why was there no video available to walk me through each new feature in iOS 4? 2. I finally got around to watching the Google TV video below on YouTube and I'm pretty excited about it. Many of you know that I have been predicting the demise of airwave television for a couple of years now. I believe airwave content will be replaced by Internet content. No more recording shows. No more DVRs. Just 100% on demand television over the Internet. And I think Google TV will take us one step closer to my prediction. Here is this week's roundup of Twitter highlights posted from my Twitter account: Read on the Apple forums that other people have same contact/calendar problem. Recommended 2nd sync. I did and cal events slowly appearing. Good news: iPhone OS 4 upgrade complete. Bad news: I have zero contacts and zero events in my calendar. #nothappy Downloading and installing iOS 4 for my iPhone. Commence praying to the iPhone gods. A few weeks ago the parents on my kids' soccer team pitched in and bought me a Starbucks gift card as a thank you for coaching the team. Not only did I love the gift but I couldn't wait to load the Starbucks card into the Starbucks mobile app on my iPhone so I could buy my first Starbucks coffee using only my iPhone for payment.
