Both of my sons now play on the same soccer team in a U8 (under 8 years old) division. They've reached the level of soccer where clumping together and trying to get the ball no matter where it is on the field is discouraged. So I see that DISH Network is trying to trick people into believing convince people it has every bit as good of an NFL selection as DIRECTV. Advertising like this really bothers me. Back in my satellite days, I had DIRECTV for 11 years, mainly because they were the exclusive provider of what they call the NFL Sunday Ticket. The NFL Sunday Ticket virtually guarantees you will see your favorite NFL team's game (although NFL blackout rules can still throw a monkey wrench in this). Here is this week's roundup of Twitter highlights posted from my Twitter account: Today is my son's September "un-birthday". I'm having lunch with him at school. If u don't celebrate un-birthdays in your house, you should. Over the weekend I set my TiVo to record the Biggest Loser and I ended up getting the Lions game. I read an article in the Indianapolis Star today titled 5 Things You Need to Know Today. I don't normally read the newspaper but my wife left a copy of the newspaper on my desk to bring the article to my attention. Ironically, I think my wife wanted me to read about thing #1 in the article which is about an Indianapolis "Twestival" being organized using Twitter to raise money for Riley Children's Foundation.
