It finally happened. I've lost touch with the old way of doing things.
I was recently complaining to my wife that I could not get a hold of a guy that I desperately needed to get a hold of. I told her I had sent emails, messaged him on Facebook and even sent a text message.
She looked me right in the eye and asked, "Did you call him?"
My face turned red. Oh yeah. You can still do that.
I dialed his number and he answered on the second ring.

I had the privilege to listen to James Burnes from MediaSauce speak at a Chamber event yesterday. His topic was social media and he stressed the importance of businesses committing to at least 15 minutes of social media per day. James was one of the rare speakers who I found myself agreeing with on every single point he made. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to social media and he just plain gets it.
