Today's technology I'd like to see (TILTS) stems from a comment left by Michelle Hartz to my recent blog post titled Amazon Kindle 2 tempts me all over again. Michelle mentioned that her library offers eBooks but not necessarily the ones she wants to read. She said she would be hooked though if libraries offered eBooks for the Kindle. I think I would too. Think about how awesome this would be. You walk into a local library with your Kindle in hand. You search through their eBook content which of course includes the same eBook selection available on Amazon.com. When…

I've fallen in love with a new gadget. It's the ASUS Eee PC netbook. It's like a miniature laptop with all the bells and whistles. I checked and none of the major stations in the Indianapolis area…

Just when I thought Best Buy couldn't top this horrible experience, they did. Last week, my son told me he had saved up enough Mr. Goodbar points to earn a reward. Mr. Goodbar points are something my wife and I give to our children when they help around the house, do something without being told or just perform a random act of kindness. When they earn enough points, we let them trade them in,…
