I love Halloween. I love watching my kids dress up in their favorite costumes running from house to house saying "trick or treat" trying to break last year's candy record. I even secretly wish that just once the Great Pumpkin would show up for Linus in the pumpkin patch. But my love of Halloween doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. I have been patiently waiting for Netflix and TiVo to form some kind of partnership where I can download or stream Netflix's huge library of Play Now movies straight to my TiVo. Soon, the wait will be over. Netflix on Tivo will be a reality in December. As some of you may know, I am already a big fan of TiVo's integrated Video on Demand service from Amazon.com. I am 100% ready for the transition to digital television next February. I have four televisions in my house. Two of them are connected to a TiVo HD DVR with a built-in digital tuner and two of them are connected to a digital to analog converter box. Some less technical people, however, may not be as confident as me. I even know some TiVo owners that didn't realize they already have digital tuners. Those of you that know me well know that I am a die hard Green Bay Packers fan. I have to be. I was born in Wisconsin and lived there for 22 years. But since moving to Indiana I have slowly jumped on the Indianapolis Colts bandwagon. Partly because it's fun to be a part of the excitement here and partly because it's awe inspiring to watch Peyton Manning's mastery of the game. Most noobies can figure out how to take a digital picture. It's the part after that where the problems begin. Take for instance this common request I get. A bunch of people all armed with digital cameras get together for a kids' sporting event, say a soccer game. After the soccer game is over, the parents come up with an idea to put together a photo book from all of the pictures everyone has taken throughout the season.
