Is it possible that GPS navigation systems could save lives? I think it is. Of course I'm partially biased because a woman almost ran me off the road today. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good look at the woman because she was wearing a large, unfolded paper map on her face. Now I'm not a driving instructor but I'm pretty sure this kind of driving is frowned upon. And if not, I'm definitely sure driving down the middle of a single lane road toward oncoming traffic while not paying a lick of attention to anything or anyone in front you… Continue reading...

I keep up pretty regularly with all things technology in the news. Which means I've known for quite some time that Guitar Hero is one of the most popular video games right now. But this particular email perplexes me from a purely mathematical standpoint. Before I go into detail, let's take a look at the actual email: -------------------- SOCIAL SECURITY CHANGES It is already impossible to live… Continue reading...

My recent pizza cravings have earned me a free 30 day trial at GameFly, compliments of Pizza Hut. If you don't know what GameFly is think Netflix for video games. If you don't know what Netflix is, think of GameFly as your online game rental store. When I decided to claim my free 30 day trial code at GameFly earlier today, I had every intention of writing about my experience with GameFly in this blog post. But the problem I ran into along with the eventual solution to that problem changed my direction completely. It all started when I noticed… Continue reading...
