"You don't think we'll have problems finding a hotel this late at night, do you?" Those are the words I uttered to my wife while driving down I-75 at 11 pm on the first night of our spring break vacation. The first few hotels we stopped at confirmed my fears. "Sorry, we don't have any rooms available." But being a techie, I couldn't give up. Or maybe it was just that I didn't want to return home to face the noobies and tell them that even with my full arsenal of technology, I had to drive through the night because… Continue reading...

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. You can get high definition television programming without paying a dime in monthly fees. Think I’m pulling the wool over your eyes? Well, I’m not. Unlike Simply Audiobooks, Audible.com… Continue reading...

When I first heard about this site an idea immediately popped into my head. Wouldn't it be great if Starbucks could tie my favorite drink to my Starbucks gift card? That way I could just walk into a Starbucks, swipe my gift card and the barista would be instantly notified of my request for a grande skinny cinnamon dolce latte. I thought it would be fun to add… Continue reading...

I love paying at the pump when I fill up my car with gas. I’ve become so accustomed to it that it is just a way of life for me. But the process isn’t perfect and here’s why. Usually, when I am done pumping the gas, it takes me a few seconds to replace the gas nozzle to the pump and put the gas cap back on my tank. During this time, the pump display is asking me if I want a receipt. Well, I always want a receipt but sometimes I forget to check the display or I don’t… Continue reading...
