A question I get a lot from parents is how they can restrict the amount of music their kids can purchase for their iPod. Here’s a couple of quick solutions. Forget using your credit card. Instead, start with an iTunes gift card. You can purchase an iTunes gift card at nearly any electronics store or online at the Apple Store. HD Built-In is usually more expensive and means the television is capable of displaying a high-definition picture… Continue reading...

But it eventually had to be done so I started bright and early this morning and got right to work setting up and configuring the new computer. For those wondering, I am still not done configuring the computer. Not because I am having any problems, but because I am so picky about how a new computer needs to be configured.… Continue reading...

A common trick digital camera manufacturers love to do is to include a very small memory card with your digital camera. This helps keep the cost down which helps the manufacturer but doesn’t do you any good. For example, today I looked at a Canon PowerShot 6 Megapixel Digital Camera at a popular electronics reseller. The price? A fantastic $279.99. But hidden at the very bottom of the product details is a small mention that the camera comes with a 16 MB memory card. For those of you that like math, you could take about five pictures at a 6… Continue reading...
