If there was ever any doubt as to how popular the iPod has become, read the following article recently posted on the AP Newswire: Jun 7, 10:14 PM (ET) SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Move over Bud. JetBlue recently won an auction from the FCC for a wireless spectrum. What does this mean for noobies? It’s too early to tell yet but odds are if you have a laptop with built-in wireless capabilities you may be able to surf the Internet on a future JetBlue flight. A new service called MovieBeam is starting to make headlines. According to the MovieBeam web site, “MovieBeam is a brilliant new way to rent and watch movies at home. Get movies delivered directly to your TV — no cable, satellite, or computer is required!” For the full details of MovieBeam visit the MovieBeam web site. This service is clearly aimed at noobies. Professional installation is not necessary since MovieBeam is supposed to only take five minutes to set up. And you don’t need any kind of cable, satellite or broadband service to receive the movies.
