10% of you don’t know what a text message is
Noobie just closed a poll that had been running on our web site for the past month. The poll asked how many text messages you send each month. The majority of people who responded, 42.31%, indicated they send 0-10 text messages per month. My guess is the respondents are closer to 0 text messages per month than they are 10.

So what's a techie to do? For starters, pay close attention to the underlined, hyperlinked words or phrases when reading any content on the Noobie web site. 10% of Noobie respondents don't know what a text message is.
In the battle of high definition DVD formats, Blu-ray emerged as the winner.
If you click on the words text message or Blu-ray in the above sentences you will find the definitions of these terms in the Noobie glossary.
Now it's time for your part. If you ever come across a technical term that you are not familiar with that is not hyperlinked or that you can not find in the Noobie glossary on your own, please use the contact form on the Noobie web site to let us know. We'll be happy to explain any term you don't know. That's what noobie power is all about!
