Wi-fi is a name for the popular wireless technology used in homes, mobile phones, and some game systems. A common use of wi-fi for noobies is to roam wirelessly around their house or favorite coffee shop with their laptop connecting to a wireless home network or a public wi-fi hotspot.

DIMM stands for dual inline memory module and refers to a series of DRAM modules mounted to a circuit board. DIMMs are commonly used in computers and are considered more efficient than their SIMMs predecessor mainly due to the lack of a requirement to pair two DIMMs together.
