DRAM
DRAM stands for dynamic random access memory. The dynamic nature of DRAM means it needs to be refreshed periodically. This is in contrast to SRAM or static memory which does not need to be refreshed periodically. DRAM is considered to have an advantage over SRAM in that it requires fewer transistors than its SRAM counterpart.
