LCD
Definition:
LCD stands for liquid crystal display and is a technology used in screens for monitors, televisions and other small electronic devices. LCD technology is popular in high definition televisions mainly because they are considered good for brightly lit rooms due to their minimal reflections. Some people report a "screen door" effect on LCD televisions meaning they can see spacing between individuals pixels on the screen if they get close enough to the television.
