iPod

Definition:

An iPod is a small, portable music player made by Apple. An iPod plays digital music purchased through Apple's iTunes Store as well as music ripped from compact discs (CDs). iPods come in several flavors such as the iPod Nano, the iPod Shuffle and the iPhone. Certain models of iPods also allow you to watch video such as movies and television shows. In order to transfer digital music and video to an iPod, it must be connected to a computer with Apple's iTunes software.

high definition television

High definition television (HDTV) provides a much higher-quality television picture and audio than a standard television. High definition programming also differs from standard television programming in that it is delivered using a digital signal as opposed to an analog signal and has an aspect ratio of 16:9 vs. 4:3 for standard television. The wider aspect ratio is what gives high definition television its widescreen look and feel.
