DRM
Definition:
DRM stands for Digital Rights Management and is a term used to describe restrictions placed on digital media such as music and movies. The intent of the restrictions is to prevent copying or otherwise illegal distribution of the digital media. Apple initially sold all of the music in its iTunes library with DRM but have recently relaxed that restriction and now sells a subset of their catalog DRM-free.

progressive scan
Progessive scan is a method for "painting" a video signal by displaying video lines sequentially (progressively) from top to bottom. This is in contrast to the alternating odd/even method used with an
interlaced signal. Progressive scan signals are considered superior to interlaces signals due to their scalability for high definition displays and the absence of quirks sometimes associated with interlaced signals.
