As you know, my husband Mikel and I attended your Digital Camera for Beginners Workshop. We had owned a digital camera for a couple of years, but had very limited knowledge of the camera itself, and absolutely no knowledge on how to manage all our digital photos.
At the beginning of the workshop, I rated my digital camera skills a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 representing the highest skill level possible. By the end of the workshop, my knowledge of digital cameras, including how to organize, share and print digital pictures jumped from a 3 to an 8, in just three short hours!
The workbook and handouts included with the workshop were understandable, well organized and will be helpful to refer back to in the future. Best of all, any questions I have specific to my own digital camera will be answered in my free 1-on-1 follow-up session, which was included with the workshop.
We have already downloaded and installed software to help us manage thousands of digital photos. We’ve transferred photos from our camera to our desktop computer, and we have started organizing all those photos that we’ve taken over the past couple of years. We have even experimented with cropping photos and have tackled some color correction. My husband has decided that he is really quite an accomplished photographer. Now that we know how to crop, rotate, etc. we have turned some truly mediocre photos into exceptional photos that we will print, frame and give as gifts.
I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone trying to learn how to use their digital camera. If you have someone that is wavering about taking the class, feel free to have them contact me. I’ll be happy to share my experience.
